Starts for the Choose-O Score-O will be at any time from 12:00 noon until 12:30PM, with a mass start at 12:00 for those who want to take part.
After the course we will have a heated indoor space with some snacks and warm drinks so you can chat with the other orienteers for a bit.
The overall idea of the Choose-O Score-O is fairly simple: You will get a standard Score-O map with 30 controls, but at each control there may be multiple flags. Punch the flag (if any) that is in the correct spot as marked on the map and you get points, punch a wrong flag and you lose points. Be back in 90 minutes. Most points wins. There will be no water out on the course.
An edible prize will be awarded to the person with the top score. The course setter reserves the right to make fast people run the long version of the course if they want to eligible for the prize

We could use people to help out with control pickup (starting at 2PM). It shouldn't take long, but there are a lot of controls out there in a small area, so having more hands will help us avoid having any one person have to carry back too many controls. A volunteer signup for pickup is posted on the event schedule page:
