Reply by kevinp203@hotmail.com on Thu Nov 27, 2025 at 8:24 amI'm looking at purchasing a GPS watch, Suunto Run, to use to be able to upload my routes to Livelox for events I participate in so I can learn from others by comparing their route to my own.Do I need permission to do this? Do I need to be at a specific skill level?I read about Livelox on the Orienteering USA website where they say it is free for OUSA members.Thank you, Kevin

Reply by JanetT on Fri Nov 28, 2025 at 12:54 pmIf you can download a gpx file from your device it can be added to Livelox for an event you run. You can also link certain devices/accounts so that Livelox automatically uploads your track to a specific Livelox activity (Strava, Garmin, Suunto, Polar, Coros). Sign up for a Livelox.com account and look at Help > For Athletes.
You do not need to be at any experience level, and it's a great learning tool to see how your routes compare to those of others on your course.
