I understand the permanent courses are being checked out to see if all the controls are in place.  Bob and I have checked Ridley creek and they are all in place. Is there any way to know which courses are not available , I heard a few courses were missing quite a few controls.  thanks.  camperpat

With a few exceptions, all of the permanent courses are in good shape with some that require minor updates to the map or post placards, which is on going at this time.

Camp Horseshoe and Hawk Mountain Scout Camp courses are generally not accessible and require some renovation. Kings Gap and Pine Grove in our western region also require more extensive renovation.

If you're looking to visit some of our newer permanent courses, try Tyler State Park, Haverford Reserve, or Colonel Denning State Park. They were all either newly installed or renovated in 2024!
