Topic created by kathyu on Mon Apr 18, 2022 at 1:21 pmI became Event Director at the very last minute and so I owe special thanks to everyone who helped me, starting with Pat Burton and also Mary Frank. Things have changed a lot since COVID. First thank you Ron Bortz for supervising the relabeling of the green kit boxes and Vadim for getting all of the boxes time reset. Thank you Pat Burton for getting the permissions. Mary Frank made sure I was able to import the courses and also import the registrations. Thank you to course setter Bob Burg for putting up with my timeline so I could deal with my Easter festivities at my home. Mary Frank and the Burtons brought a table and tents. They did set up and takedown and stayed to the bitter end. Most important -- Laura Adduci was a total gem on the epunch and Bob Agosto helped too and was there for control pickup. For control pickup, we had a great team, Laura, Bob, the Burtons, Dave Urban and Wyatt Riley all were great! And on the score side, Wyatt, Vadim, Lena and many other folks helped decide how to handle the mysterious missing control and did the usual prompt and professional job in score reporting. Thanks to John Ort for helping me with the loose ends. All these people and more that I've missed supported and helped me as I tried to remember what an ED does! Finally Bob Burg, our course setter, thank you for the many hours you spent putting the courses together and mapping and map printing and even taking the time to set up the Easter Treasure Hunt.I would be remiss if I did not take a moment to say thank you to Dave Urban for helping me every time I freaked out at the computer, and who loaded and unloaded the green kit from the car countless times. It was also Dave who suggested a future free run for the white and yellow runners. Thank you Dave.

Just wish more could have been available Easter Saturday. It was a marvelous day of orienteering in such unique and beautiful terrain.
