I am very busy at work this week so I will not get out a detailed thank you list until this coming weekend nor will I have the awards figured out from the results that are posted until then.  I will be sending each registered troop a list of those who will receive an award.  These can either be picked up at our home by pre-arrangement or at an upcoming DVOA event again with pre-arrangement.

More details to come... but I just want to thank all the DVOA members who volunteered this weekend and will be posting a more detailed list in the next week.  I could not do this event without your support and it is great to see such outstanding volunteer commitment for this event.  I am also thankful as ever to the weather for making it a great weekend to be outdoors.

Hey Mark -The measure of success is voiced by the participants.  From comments I heard and received, the event was a tremendous success.  Many thanks to you for the many hours of work you spent puting the event together!

Here's a super awesome message we got from one of the scout troops on Facebook today:

Just wanted to take a moment and thank your group for putting on the MASOC for the Scouts. Our youth were there for the first time and enjoyed it. They are already planning to camp near another competition you put on so that they can challenge themselves more. It was very organized and everyone I spoke to was so friendly and welcoming. Please extend a heartfelt thank you to all of your members.

Awesome job this year Mark and all who helped make it a success. As a club member and Scout volunteer, I can 100% say this event, while smaller and reduced from previous years, was still fantastic for the Scouts to be able to get outdoors and have a good time.

We had Scouts this year that have never done Orienteering or MASOC before. They will be back next year!

    Bonus points for the weather.
