The registration is now open for the vent and currently can be found by going to the DVOA schedule and finding the event.  The links are there.  There will be a link off the main page coming soon.  Hope you can make it out for both days.  The Saruday event will be at French Creek North with courses by Glen Tryson.  Map has bee updated by Eric Weyman late Fall 2019.  Sunday's event will be on DVOA's new map at Coventry Woods a North Coventry Township park.   Petr Hartman is the course setter for Day 2.  Kathy Moss is the registrar.

The event requires pre-registration so check out the entry deadlines at the site.

Hope you can make it out for both days and if not try to make it to one of the days.  It is a chance to see and meet some orienteers from around the country and Canada.  There are recreational courses of White, Yellow and Orange being offered on both days so even if you don't want to compete you can get out on the maps and experience the courses.

    VOLUNTEERS:
We are looking for volunteers for each day.  NO EXPERIENCE is required and we can use all the help we can get to make this a fun and enjoyable event.  Contact me directly at orienteer7 at aol dot com.

Many club members have stepped up to fill key roles for the event.   We will be holding a meeting at the upcoming winter meeting.  The meeting will begin at 2:15 Saturday 1/25/20 to dicuss the current status of the event and go over requirements and planning.  All are welcome to attend the meeting.

Be sure to pre-register for competitive courses by March 1st to avoid late fees. Information and the registration link are here: http://www.dvoa.org/events/aevents/2020/index You can also pre-register there for Rec White, Yellow, or Orange (make sure you de-select the competitive course for your age group, which the program defaults to).
