I'd like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Happy New Year and invite all members to the Winter Meeting at Zion Lutheran Church (39 Bonnie Brae Rd, Spring City, PA 19475) on January 25th at 2:00 PM.

The event will kick off at 2:00 with a  presentation on running an A event by Mark Frank.  There may be additional presentations, so stay tuned.

The presentation will be followed by our Pot Luck Dinner.  Please bring a dish (and serving utensil) to share with others

Following dinner we will conduct our annual meeting which will tentatively include:

         Treasurers Report
Program update from the Mapping Committee
         Course Update from Permanent Courses
         Equipment Update
         Junior Program Update
         Schedule Update
         2019 Awards
Elections (please think of nominations for who we want to lead our club into the new decade):
                         President
                         Vice President
                         Secretary
                         One Board Member

Following the formal meeting we will have time for fellowship and will be signing up volunteers for CS and ED duties for 2020.  Sam Kolins and I will be pre-registering people for the 2020  President's cup which will take place on Sunday, January 25th at Springton Manor (see events page for details).

Looking forward to seeing everyone next weekend

John meant we will be discussing the upcoming National Event this coming Saturday.  Doors open at 2pm and plan to start discussion at 2:15 with a current status and then discuss additional requirements and volunteer needs for the the event.   There may also be discussion of the Fall National Event.

Thanks for the winter meeting and the fine potluck fare.  If anyone wants to send me recipes for a Briar Patch Cookbook, I'll put one together.
Thank you Tom for kind words about permits, but "frankly" Mary has been dealing with permits for years and still does most of them.  Mark and Mary should get a Ringo shout out for all they are doing for the club.
