As we have applied for sanctioning with OUSA for a National Event on March 21-22, 2020 using French Creek North and our new map at Coventry Woods (off St, Peters Road) near French Creek both areas are immediately embargoed.  This means that you cannot visit the areas which these maps cover withour disqualification from participation in the upcoming event.

The Score-O event that is being done on November 2, 2019 at French Creek will not utilize the area being used for the National Event and therefore participation at that event will not disqualify you from the National event.   If you have any questions please contact me at orienteer7 at aol dot com.

Is there or will there be an image of the embargoed areas? I was thinking about possibly doing some pretzel city sports races that are in French creek ... Brad

Unofficially: Typically participation in marked courses is OK. You just can?t be out there with a map or scoping out the woods. The pretzel city race uses the north section.

It would be good to officially lay out the boundaries if it?s ok to train in bordering areas. Look forward to Coventry Woods!!
