A huge thank you to our new course setter, Lena, for a challenging and very well designed set of courses and even an extra meadow sprint!Many thanks to all the helpers at the event: Dave Morgan, Dave Urban, and Paige Suhocki for registration; Kathy Urban and Diane Reider for computer help; Mary Frank for permissions/pavilion rental; Mark Frank for instruction and general help; Sam Kolins for control/computer help and control pickup; Lena Kushleyeva, Patty Carrigan, Paige Suhocki, Margaret Hammond, Steve Aronson, Sharon (Aronson) Siegler, Bob Burg, Ian DeMenna, Mitch Zimmer, and Brad Colbeck for control pickup! Did I miss anyone else? If so, thank you!

It was a crazy day, and it meant a whole lot that you guys showed up and helped!And I'll add a couple more things --Thank you Kathy for being an absolutely awesome event director -- keeping things on track throughout the event preparation, and then keeping everything under control during the craziness of the actual event!Also huge thanks to Sam Kolins for all the work vetting the courses, for help with hanging controls, and then waking up all the controls before everyone even got to the event. And thanks for setting up the results display -- I thought that worked out really awesome, giving people a spot to gather around and chat about their adventures and misadventures on the course.Also a special shout out to Paige who won Yellow, then shadowed Dave Morgan at registration (thanks, Dave!), and then found her first advanced control during control pick up!Also thank you everyone who took the time to think back critically about the courses and give me feedback, both during the event and after. I really appreciate it, and if you think of anything else that I should have done differently, I'd very much like to hear it!And separate and huge thanks to Mary Frank, who somehow decided that it was a good idea to let me design courses :)
