Couple of Last Minute Event Director Notes:

    1. The Park is very wet/muddy from all of the rain events. The rangers have chipped alot of trees and have covered signifcant portions of the trails with wood chips to help your footing.

    2. Always looking for a a few more volunteers for control pickup on Sunday starting around 2:00 -2:30 pm

    3. Weather looks to be improving as the day goes on into Sunday morning, but rains on Saturday will keep the park pretty wet.

Thank you for a great start to the season! So nice to see faces I have not seen in ... oh, four years!? AND - I saw a bald eagle at the finish!

Thanks to all who helped put on the meet. And thank you to that nice person who returned my lost bandana to the pavilion.

What a wet, windy, wonderful day in the woods! For those of you who were kind enough to loan your map to cover our shortage later in the day, and would like to reclaim a map for your collection, please contact me and I will get a fresh new map to you.
