An orienteering family from Ohio is visiting relatives on Long Beach Island, so I was thinking that they might be interested in checking out one of the local O-maps.

AFAIK, Batsto would be the closest, so I'm wondering if there are any permanent courses there, or even any virtual ones like UsiygnO (sp?).  Leftover W/Y maps from the December 5, 2021, event could also be useful.

    TIA!

There has been a massive forrest fire in Batsto just behind the village and off near the river so the batona trail and yellow trail have been closed.   Bremdan Byrne near four mile circle off rt 70/72 has had a fire also but I don;'t think it was near the area mapped.

Any maps leftover from BB/4MC April 16?

(I'm assuming no permanent or virtual courses there)

Check the Inquirer for a new article about the damage and its extent.  I'll message you the link if I can find it again.

Guy, I have the leftover course maps for BTB aka Four Mile Circle which is a conveniently straight shot west on Rt 72, the main road into and out of LBI.  Please contact me directly -- bburg at comcast dot net.
