Added bonus: my course had no controls set in the uphill rock field, and my route did not take me through any flesh-piercing prickers!As for the weather, it was what the British call "a lovely soft day." Thanks everyone, for making this happen. Among those that turned out, I saw families. I saw a pair of girls doing their first solo event. I saw happy (though wet) faces!
