Hello,
You are receiving this from the NeuroFit Lab in the Department of Kinesiology at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. The following text will describe and invite you to voluntarily participate in a research project currently being conducted for an undergraduate thesis project in the NeuroFit Lab. This study will be analysing the relationship between experience in the sport of orienteering and spatial processing abilities. This project has been cleared by the McMaster Research Ethics Board.
You have been contacted to voluntarily take part in the orienteering sample group in this study, among many other participants worldwide. This study will take the form of an anonymous online questionnaire. There will be multiple components of this study. You will complete a screening survey to determine if you meet the eligibility requirements of this study. You will then fill out an online consent form, and then you will complete a questionnaire which will record your demographics, your physical activity and orienteering habits, as well as two measures of select cognitive function. The entire process should take about 30-35 minutes, and you will be able to enter into a draw to win an incentive if you meet the eligibility requirements for participation. Please DO NOT SHARE this opportunity outside of this E-Board.

Eligibility requirements for this study include: 1) you are between the age of 18 and 85 years old, 2) you are able to converse in English, 3) you have practiced foot-orienteering more than 5 times, 4) you do not regularly consume alcohol or use recreational drugs, and 6) you are not diagnosed with a mild cognitive impairment.
