Come out to Norristown State Hospital on Wednesday 7/24 for the final Sprint event of the 2019 Summer season!  

Use the NSH entrance off of Stanbridge St. and watch for signs to direct you to the parking which is just a short ways ahead on the left after entering the grounds.  Two courses will be offered.  Cost is $10 for one course, $15 total for two courses.  We will have a limited number of SI Air e-punch sticks available on a first come/first served basis for an additional $5.  All proceeds benefit the US Team. Start window is 5:30 - 7:00 pm.

Note that there are no public restrooms on the NSH grounds.  Closest ones are probably in the adjacent Norristown Farm Park.

Important Course Notes:

There is a cluster of buildings in the area covered by the courses which is strictly out-of-bounds.  This area is marked with red slashing on the maps.  Courses have been designed to use this as a route choice obstacle.  Runners can go around either side of the area but sidewalks between buildings that are covered with the red slashing may not be used.  There is a roadway that runs between the out-of-bounds areas that is not covered with red slashing and may be used.  Any runner caught violating the out-of-bounds areas will be disqualified.  As long as everyone avoids the red slashed areas, there should be no issue.

Use caution when running or crossing roads.  Traffic is generally very light.  

Map scale is 1:5000 with 3 meter contours.
