Where can I buy a clue sheet holder? I don?t know if I?m just not doing a good job in google but I?m having a hard time finding any orienteering gear suppliers. Who do you recommend for O gear, in particular right now I?m looking for a clue sheet holder. Thanks! Brad

Orienteering USA lists orienteering vendors on the website. (http://orienteeringusa.org/orienteers/o-vendors) (Note: list hasn't been checked recently for updated info.) I recommend starting with the two main U.S.A. gear suppliers who sell at events: Gale Teschendorf's 866-Gaiters and Berman's O Supply.

I use an UnderArmour quarterback's play sleeve.  You can find it at the football section at Dicks Sporting goods.  It is much mor sturdy than the orienteering clue sheet holder I bought before that.

I use this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00UQXBTC4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1  It has held up remarkable well for the last 3-4 years and is easily washable.  It's a little warm in the summer, so a real orienteering clue sheet holder may be a better long term option.  Still, I'm happy with this one and it fits most clue sheets well.

My vision is such that I don't focus well at wrist distance so don't use a commercial holder. Instead I use a small heavy-duty zip bag attached to elastic that goes around my wrist. It hangs from my map-holding arm so doesn't get caught on trees or branches, and I can hold it at the right focal distance when needed. Chacun a son gout.
