I was about to pack it in after running the #2 course, but I impulsively offered to accompany a bunch of little girls and a mom who were half of a birthday party! Who knew orienteering would be so much fun! The birthday girl, Maya, was fast, energetic, and able to use the compass. We all had a great time. All the girls really impressed me with their different talents. I hope they come back.
