ED/CS Notes:
The Cecil County Fair will be in its opening weekend, so we will be working out of the South Appleton Road parking area. This lot is reached by turning south from 273 onto Appleton Road. The parking area is about a mile down on the right. This is a small lot and will probably be shared with some equestrians. Please give the horses right of way. Activities from the fair will only potentially impact the red and blue courses, with an antique tractor parade moving from the racetrack area to the Gallagher Road area between 11:00 and 1:00. In walking and investigating the area, I noticed that the vegetation boundarys had thickened, the vegetation is about a ? step harder, and some smaller areas seemed to have grown together, making my early thoughts for some control placements unuseable. Climb was hard to avoid, courses are trending toward the short end as a result.
