Winter Meeting, Potluck

Event Director: Nancy Sharp
Course Setter:
ED/CS Notes:
You do not need to be a member of DVOA to attend; all friends of orienteering in the Delaware Valley are welcome!
Afternoon events include a workshop for past and future event directors and course setters: everything you needed to know to run an event but didn’t know you needed to know! (Does not include how to set a course. We’re planning a separate day of training for that skill later this winter.)
Potluck supper will begin at approximately 5 p.m. Bring a dish to share: appetizer, entrée, side dish, or dessert.
Membership meeting will take place after the potluck dinner. The club leadership will provide some updates on activities of the past year and a look at plans for 2015, including our upcoming A Event in March, which will feature interscholastic, intercollegiate and trail-O championships. And you guessed it: we’ll need lots of help.
We need to elect a new director for a five-year term. To date, we have heard from one person interested in running. If you would like to run, please let me know.
