Note that because of the relatively low DVOA turnout at the Scout/JROTC Championship last October, we will be using the surplus maps from that event. Therefore, none of the storm damage is mapped. But miraculously, the direction and location of downfall, while in some areas impressive, has left courses and route options virtually uneffected.

So come get a first hand look at "Hurricane Meets Woods" half a year later -- especially on display around our Registration/Start/Finish area in Greene Grove.

If you did run a course in October, come and run a different one. The courses use remapped areas of Washington Crossing, offering legs through open woods as well as more technical areas that require careful route choice. And everyone will have use a streamered finishing leg that wends its way through a dozen new rootstocks in the area.

To meet Park safety concerns, we ask that as many of you as possible pre-register for the event on the website. You can still show up the day of the event.

See you in the woods, just across the I-95 bridge into New Jersey. And please be aware that during summer months the Park does charge a per car entrance fee of $5 for Jersey residents, $7 non-residents. Sorry for that, but we did not anticipate it when we were trying to find a slot in our schedule.

Day-of-registration is available, at $10 for beginners, and $20 for other courses.

All starts are from 10:00am until 1:00pm unless otherwise noted. Follow the text directions and look for Orienteering road signs as you near the park.
