SCOUT/JROTC 19th Annual New Jersey Championships – Saturday, October 17th
Orienteering Community and General Public Are More than Welcome
We invite you to the “wilds” of Washington Crossing State Park for this Autumn event to run wonderful courses in a beautiful NJ treasure – rolling hills wrapping around several converging creek re-entrants leading down to the Delaware River, full of runnable white woods, open fields, and intricate trail systems through a variety of vegetation, which while growing thicker in places still leaves us plenty of room to roam. Note that we will be offering an early afternoon Score-O this year for Scouts and JROTC.
For Scouts, Venture Crews, and JROTC: If you haven’t already registered yet, submit your entry form to our Registrar as soon as possible – deadline is Friday (Oct 9th) postmark. For DVOA Members and the Orienteering Public: Come join us for a full set of courses (note that we are offering courses White through Red) on Saturday. To avoid the rush of Scouts and JROTC, we suggest that you to start your course between Noon and 1:30pm. You may, of course run at any time, from 10am on. We would greatly appreciate your help during the early hours when we are managing hundreds of scouts and jrotc, or at completion of the day to collect everything for departure.

- Day-of-registration is available, at $10 for beginners, and $20 for other courses.
All starts are from 10:00am until 1:00pm unless otherwise noted. Follow the text directions and look for Orienteering road signs as you near the park.
