Normal Registration ends on May 10th. Late Registration Ends May 27th.

Join us for 10, 7, or 4 hours of navigation in excellent Poconos terrain. We will be using all four of our fully-contiguous Hickory Run orienteering maps (these have been used for national level orienteering and adventure racing events). Food will be provided after the event, with a chance to hang out with orienteering friends, new and old, to share your adventures.

Tasty Prizes for the most controls found! Special coins will be placed at each control, and an additional prize will go the person who can collect just the right coins on the course, so that their coin value most closely matches their final orienteering score.

The timing options for the different duration courses are:
10 hour: Map handout 7AM, event 8AM-6PM.
7 hour: Map handout 10AM, event 11AM-6PM.
4 hour: There are two different options:
     Map handout 10AM, event 11AM-3PM.
     Map handout 1PM, event 2PM-6PM.

Plan on joining us for a day of navigational fun in some of our best terrain. Despite the fact that DVOA goes up to Hickory Run for training each year, there are a ton of awesome areas of the park that most orienteers have not visited in years, if ever. Check out the compiled map on the last page of the event details link above to get a look at just how cool the entire mapped area is when viewed as once. Look forward to seeing you in the woods!

Pre-registration is recommended, discounted, and open until Thursday night, before the event.
Day-of-registration is available, at $10 for beginners, and $20 for other courses.

All starts are from 10:00am until 1:00pm unless otherwise noted. Follow the text directions and look for Orienteering road signs as you near the park.
