ED/CS Notes:
French Creek will provide many challenges for all orienteers. First time using the new map of FCE which is printed at 1:10,000! Pretty excited to see everyone come out and enjoy the new map.
Its supposed to be very hot so the courses are slightly shorter than normal. There will also be some extra water controls along with plenty of water at the finish. Make sure to stay hydrated.
Parking will be at the Baptism Creek area along with registration. Remember parking here is a little tight.
White and yellow are both on the shorter side of things, but if you are looking to move up to yellow today would be the day or if white wasn't enough go back for more on the yellow.
Orange has nice long legs with some interesting route choices.
Brown and Green both have some pretty sweet legs. Will have to mix up the pace on the short and long legs to stay focused and clean out there.
Red gets you around the map in some tricky ways with many direction changes. There is a butterfly loop so make sure you go to all controls in the correct order.
