ED/CS Notes:
Greetings DVOA Members
It has been a wild year and we will be taking some time on Sunday, February 28th to review where we've been and to chart our course for the future. While we normally host this meeting in person at the end of January with a delicious pot-luck, work and COVID environment challenges have driven us to a virtual format in February. That said, I think we have put together a meeting that will provide a wealth of information and a fair amount of interaction to allow participants to learn and help grow the club.
Our format for the meeting will be Google Meets. This will allow us to see each other and project slides to support our discussions. I will send voting and video links to all registered members. The event will be free. We will begin the day with a few training/breakout sessions on various topics and conclude with a plenary session to report the state of the club and provide feedback on select areas wihtin the club. We will also use this opportunity to present service awards including the return of Course Directors and Course Setters of the year and the Ringo Award. I am excited to announce that we will allow virtual voting for the Course Directors and Course Setters and will have a virtual vote for the one Board position that we must fill. As this is a virtual event, participants can come and go as they please to sample the training and information sessions that they want. Here is the agenda for the event:
