Notes: Event Center is at Roberts Elementary School 889 Croton Road, Wayne, PA. Starts from 5PM to 7 PM. Control pick up at 8 PM. Map is non-ISOM enhanced trail map by Chris Hand at 1:5000.
ED/CS Notes:
Night-O in an unfamiliar place in the early evening! Plenty of time afterwards to shop and/or eat in King of Prussia.
McKaig is a hilly 93 acres with well-maintained trails, gentle flowing creeks and lots of white woods.
The (amateur) map uses USGS contours and is non-ISOM but very readable for a night-O at 1:5000.
Beginner course features a treasure hunt and marshmallow roasting for the kiddies along the way. The advanced course is set using strong features with lots of route choice for off trail navigation and climbs that will warm you up in a hurry.
There is a score-O featuring all the controls of both courses.
Starts from 5 - 7 PM, control pickup at 8 PM. Score-O has no time limit other than the 8 PM cutoff.
