ED/CS Notes:

The April 12th local event will be held on the Fair Hill - Strawbridge Fields map.  This area has been used only once previously for the 2014 U.S.Relay Championships.  All courses will cross the famed Mason-Dixon line.

Parking and registration for the event will be at the lot off of North Appleton Rd.  In order to maximize use of the new terrain, there will be a 1 km (10 minute) walk north to the start. Finish is located a short distance from the parking area.

PARKING NOTE: No need to pay the park\\\'s parking fee; it\\\'s included in your event fee. Be sure to pick up a parking \\\'permit\\\' when you register and place it on your dashboard.

The map is 1:10,000 scale with 5m contours and was produced in 2013 by Marian Cotirta.  It is still in very good shape.  Only the Red and Blue courses will cross Big Elk Creek (with bridges utilized at both crossing points).  Climb figures may appear high - these are measured along the shortest sensible route.  It may be possible to reduce climb through judicious route planning.

There is a special symbol used for the first control on the White course - a black open circle.  This designates a fence post.  For all courses, there is an out-of-bounds area delineated on the map by red slashing.  This area is being used for a University of Delaware hydrology study and may not be crossed.
